By Sea
There are three ports operating in the province of Camiguin. The
main port of entry is in Benoni, with minor ports at Balbagon and
Guinsiliban. Balbagon Port links Cagayan de Oro and Cebu, Benoni
Port links with Balingoan and Cagayan de Oro, and Guinsiliban Port
which also has a roro landing facility links with Balingoan and
Cagayan de Oro.
FROM CEBU:
Seair (032-341-3021) flies from Mactan Airport, Cebu City 3 (three)
times weekly, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 10:45 am departure
35 minutes of flying time.
Super Shuttle Ferry (032-231-0639) departs Pier # 8 Cebu City 1(one)
time weekly every Friday evening at 8:00 pm arriving Balbagon Port
in Camiguin Saturday morning at 7:00 am
FROM CAGAYAN DE ORO:
From the Cagayan de Oro City airport, you can take a cab to the
bus terminal located at the Agora Market and get on a bus for Balingoan,
a town 84 kilometers outside the city. At Balingoan, take a ferry
bound for Camiguin Island approaching Camiguin by sea. The trip
usually takes an hour before you reach Benoni Wharf of Mahinog,
which is 17 kilometers from the capital town of Mambajao.
The Caves Dive Resort is located in the northwestern side
of the island, within easy car, motorbike or public transportation
ride to and from the provincial capital town of Mambajao and all
the island major attractions.
